MOBILE TABLE UNITS

Specifications

Folding, mobile table units shall be designed to open, fold and roll by one person without strain. All leg and frame components shall be epoxy powdercoated. (OPTIONAL: Leg assemblies shall be nickel chrome plated with all other metal frame parts epoxy powdercoated).

LOCKING- A gravity lock shall firmly lock the table in the open position and shall be capable of operation from both sides of the table. The lock rod shall be 7/16" diameter and chrome plated to resist wear. The table shall also be furnished with an intermediate position lock to allow units to be secured in a partially folded position for easier and faster movement during floor maintenance activities.

CONSTRUCTION- Tops (see PREMIUM TOP OPTIONS) shall consist of high pressure plastic laminate bonded to a 5/8" minimum thick, 47 lb. particleboard core, sealed on the underside with a phenolic sheet Edges of tops shall be banded with vinyl T molding which is secured by staples to the top's underside approximately every 6".
   Each top shall be supported by two, 1 7/8" deep, 14 gauge steel frames or frames of equal strength. Frames shall contain no holes greater than 1/2" diameter and shall be capped with riveted plastic bumpers. Each top shall be supported width-wise in at least two places.
   Tubular components shall be of 1.05" diameter, 14 gauge steel tubing, or structural members of equal or greater bending strength.
   Casters shall be heavy-duty, double ball-bearing type with a minimum rated load capacity of 275 lbs. each. Casters shall have hard rubber, non-marking wheels of 4" diameter and 1 1/4" wide.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS- When the table unit is folded down ready for use, all casters shall lift from the floor so that the table won't roll. Table units shall have no moving parts that can pinch, cut or pierce the operator's hands while the table is being folded up or down. There shall be a gap between the table tops of at least 3/4" to prevent pinched fingers.

WARRANTY- Mobile Table Units shall be covered by a 10 year warranty.


OPTIONAL Perma-Tuff edges protection can be added to table and bench tops to improve durability and help maintain proper sanitation. Polyurethane epoxy resin is chemically bonded to top's plastic laminate surface, core material and backing sheets to form a sanitary seal against bacterial formation from trapped food elements.		Optional 3/4" tick, seven ply, AC grade plywood core tops offer greater strength to resist breakage at critical areas, including corners and edges. Plywood core tops may be branded with standard vinyl T molding or edged with optional Perma-Tuff.		Casters automatically lift from the floor when units are opened for use, making sure your Mobile Table Units stay neatly aligned. Heavy-duty 4" diameter x 1 1/4" wide swivel casters with treaded stems are secured to solid steel inserts, welded and concealed neatly inside the caster support tubes.
